Alexis Taylor Cote
Alexis was born in Enterprise, Alabama and has lived in New York, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Kansas due to her family's many military moves. Her family moved to Madison, Alabama in 2002, and Madison is the place Alexis considers home.
Alexis has been a musician since picking up her first violin at the age of five. As she grew, she learned to play the oboe, piano, and at twelve years old, the French horn. Eventually, she realized her dream was to play French horn professionally.
When she is not practicing or studying, Alexis likes spending time with her sisters in Zeta Tau Alpha, her friends at Crossfit No'Ala, or with Oakley, the black lab mix that she and Aaron adopted from the animal shelter.
Alexis is graduating from the University of North Alabama May 10 with a Bachelor of Science in Music. She has accepted a Graduate Assistantship at the University of Florida School of Music beginning in August, studying French Horn with Dr. Paul Basler to obtain her Master of Music in French Horn performance.
Aaron LeCroy Lovelady
Aaron was born in Woodstock, GA where he lived until the Lovelady's moved to Florence, AL in 2004.
Aaron grew up playing sports, primarily baseball. However, when the Lovelady's moved to Florence midway through the school year, Aaron was unable to play on school teams. He joined the band instead and has been an outstanding trumpet player ever since.
When Aaron has free time, he enjoys spending time with his brothers in Alpha Tau Omega, competing in triathlons, competing in CrossFit, training at CrossFit No'Ala, and playing frisbee with Oakley, his shelter dog.
Aaron will graduate from The University of North Alabama on May 10, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Music. He will be working as a graduate assistant as he pursues a Master of Music in trumpet performance in Fall 2014 at the University of Florida where he will study with Dr. Joseph Montelione.
